Sorona®
OUR GREEN YARN FROM DuPont
DuPont uses glucose (a bio-based monomer) as the basic material for the production of bio-PDO, and manufactures a renewable raw material for the production of DuPont™ Sorona® and other bio-based fibers, which can be widely used in daily life Supplies such as carpets and clothing.
Due to the use of bio-based-PDO as the main raw material, the production of Sorona® reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 63% compared to the production of petroleum-based nylon 6.Compared with petroleum-based PDO, the production process of bio-PDO reduces energy consumption by up to 40% and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by more than 40%.
With our patented technology, we recycle the wasted color paste from chromoject machines and stores it in a specially made container with temperature and humidity conditioner. Next time in production, we use our own developed software to automatically extract required colors from the container which stores the big quantity wasted color paste in different colors.
After finished production, we have to wash the "thickening agent” left in carpets, which results in sewage disposal. But with our patented technology, we realized full automatic recycling and filtering system, which can turn the polluted water(After washing the “thickening agent”) into clean water. By this unique mechanism, polluted water can be used repeatedly which results in 0 sewage disposal.
